I enrolled at Sheffield Hallam University to study Interior Architecture & Design, my first year was mostly online due to the pandemic.
During second year I continued to develop my design skills through a variety of projects
After completing my second year at university I decided I needed some industry experience. I started my placement year in September at HLM architects.
I finished my placement in the summer and began looking ahead to final year of university. Starting in September, I set out to apply all the knowledge I had learned on placement to my final year work.
I'm currently in my final semester at university and looking forward to what the future holds!

Care
This final year university project focused on creating a well-being space for individuals with dementia. The project explores how it feels to lose our memories and how design can help mitigate the impact of dementia.
The cove project aimed to create a musical sanctuary in an underutalised part of Sheffield. The unique site allowed for some interesting architectural interventions. Ultimatly this music space hopes to build community and engage young people

Access
Access is all about creating accessible spaces within Sheffield city centre for indivduals with autism. The centre piece of this project was the ‘watchtower’, a central stair case with rest spots that provided safety
A collaborative project that worked with a real client (batch tea) to create a piece of art that payed homage to the history of tea whilst looking forward into the future. The project incorporated augmented reality technology, the poster acting as a QR code that would bring up the futuristic scene displaying the history of tea.

Placement Year
As part of my degree I took a year out to gain industry experience. My tenure at HLM Architects provided me with invaluable insights into professional practice. During my time there, I had the opportunity to collaborate with architects, participate in projects across a range of sectors, and contribute to various stages of the design process. These experiences expanded my technical proficiency and fostered my ability to thrive in a collaborative work environment.

Illustration
As well as perusing architecture, I also create my own illustrations in my personal times. These are mostly for fun and act as a creative outlet outside of university
Merchandise Design
I was part of a volunteer team designing merchandise for The Send, a global christian organisation
